Rick Miller (veteran public health officer) will be talking about his first hand experiences in Somalia in the battle to eradicate Small Pox. He will be showing the incredible photographs taken in the remote African villages and other locales during his years with the World Health Organization. Join us on a safari abroad and follow how health offices combat killer diseases like Small Pox, Tuberculosis, HIV-AIDS and the dreaded Guinea Worm. Learn about the fascinating 200 year history of vaccination. See the artifacts that defeated the dreaded Small Pox.
