The Southern California Medical Museum
A special exhibit highlighting the history of pharmacy has been recently opened at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton California. The display is entitled “The Art and Science of the Old Pharmacy Legends.” Co-Curator Hans Davidson, MD traces the history of pharmacy from the ancient apothecaries of Babylon, through the alchemists of Europe and Arab lands in the middle ages, through the Renaissance and up to modern pharmacies.
The exhibit can be viewed at ARMC 400 North Pepper Avenue, Colton, California 92324.
