The Southern California Medical Museum
The Southern California Medical Museum
Twelve scouts from Upland California Troop 614 came to the museum on April 1,2010 for the opportunity to earn the Boy Scouts of America’s Medicine Merit Badge. This is one of the most uncommon badges that the scouts offer and our museum is happy to offer it to scouts throughout Southern California. Museum curator Elliot Weinstein, MD is an official counsellor for this merit badge and lead the boys through the museum and the many requirements that must be completed in order to earn the badge.
Assistant Scoutmaster Brenda Brown and Committeeman Dave Carichner were present to help the boys with transportation and to guide them to completion. The Southern California Medical Museum can arrange for groups or individual scouts that would like to earn the Medicine Merit Badge. Please call us at (951)787-7700 for more information.
